TMT REBAR Fe 500
Introduction
ECOPLUS 500 is a high strength ribbed TMT reinforcement bar. For reference, the strength of the rebar is 500 MPa. By keeping the level of impurities like Sulphur and Phosphorous to below 0.105%, the consistency in strength across the rebar is maintained. ECOPLUS 500 conforms to the latest standards (last revision 2012) set by Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).
Specification
ECOPLUS 500 is manufactured through a superior quality and controlled steel making process to diminish the levels of impurities like Sulphur and Phosphorous. These impurities decrease the strength of steel in extreme hot and cold conditions. Therefore lower values are better.
ECOPLUS 500 is available in sizes from 8mm to 32mm. A comparison chart on specifications of 500 and BIS standards is mentioned below –
